This 2 owner Porsche 911 Turbo was manufactured in June 1986 and is finished in Guards Red over Black leather. The 930 is completely stock and has been kept all original, including the factory radio, by it's current owner of over 12 years. From factory, it was optioned with a limited-slip differential, electric sliding sunroof, power seats, and a Blaupunkt Monterey radio.
Power comes from a turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six mated to a four-speed manual transaxle. When new, Porsche claimed that the engine produced 282 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 289 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm, resulting in a top speed of 157 mph.
The engine was rebuilt in 2012 and the transmission received new synchros, sleeves, and dog teeth in June of 2018 at a cost of more than $10k. At 62K miles this 930 received over $4k in service including new ring gear, exhaust gaskets, spark plugs, a new ignition relay, brake pads, new tires, new engine belts, and more.
The Guards Red paint is in excellent condition and is shown from several angles in the extensive photo gallery. The paint is mostly original with just the rear passenger fender being resprayed to correct some rock chips. The 930 Turbo features a whale-tail spoiler and wide-body fenders. All the glasses are original and free of blemishes. The included Carfax dates back to 1986 and does not report any accidents or damage.
Correct original 16″ Fuchs forged alloy wheels with black centers and anodized lips are equipped. They are currently mounted on a set of 205/55 front and 225/50 rear Dunlop tires, with each corner, also highlighted in the gallery.
The perforated black leather seat upholstery appears to be free of rips, tears, or excessive wear, as well as the leather-wrapped steering-wheel. The leather dash cover was replaced in April 2019 and retains its factory Blaupunkt Monterey cassette stereo. The six-digit odometer shows less than 72K miles, approximately 21k of which have been added by the seller
This 930 Turbo is now being offered with extensive service records since 2002, owners manual, factory maintenance book, tool kit, car cover, a clean Carfax, and a clean Florida title.
