This 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera is one of 875 in the Commemorative Edition built to celebrate the 250,000th 911 built on June 3, 1988. Of the 875 examples produced, only 300 were imported to the US (120 coupes, 100 cabrios and 80 Targas) Finished in Diamond Blue Metallic (F5) over Silver Blue Metallic Special leather, and it is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed G50 manual transaxle.
Additional factory equipment included electric convertible top, power-adjustable front seats, power-adjusted mirrors, short-shift gear lever, sports suspension, luxury carpet, power windows, and 15 Color matching Fuchs alloy wheels.
The cabin features seats trimmed in special Silver Blue leather with Dr. Ferdinand Porsches signature embroidered headrests as well as a matching dashboard and door panels.
In preparation for the sale, a new German fabric convertible top and seals were replaced. Recent maintenance included replacing the struts, brake pads, rotors and calipers, an oil change, and replacement engine air filter.
This 911 Carrera Targa is now offered with factory literature, a clean Carfax and a clear Florida title.
